Bahamas-China Trade Association (BCTA)<\/strong> was invited to attend the Yangjiang Industry Investment Promotion Conference<\/strong>, held in Beijing and organized by the People\u2019s Government of Yangjiang. The event focused on priority sectors including high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials, modern agriculture, and wellness tourism \u2014 aiming to attract quality investment and promote global cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a key international participant, BCTA engaged in productive exchanges with Yangjiang\u2019s government departments, industrial parks, and leading enterprises. Discussions centered on potential collaboration in renewable energy equipment, offshore processing, tourism development, and the marine economy<\/strong> between Yangjiang and The Bahamas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the conference, BCTA emphasized Yangjiang\u2019s strategic advantages as a coastal industrial hub and highlighted The Bahamas as a Caribbean gateway with expanding demand for industrial cooperation. The Association proposed exploring the concept of a \u201cSino-Caribbean Offshore Cooperation Zone\u201d<\/strong>, facilitating joint development in processing, logistics, and talent mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yangjiang officials welcomed future visits by Bahamian business delegations and expressed appreciation for BCTA\u2019s ongoing work in promoting international engagement. Both sides reached preliminary agreements to collaborate on project matchmaking, international legal support, and investment promotion activities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event marked a step forward in bringing China-Caribbean cooperation to the city and enterprise level.
